Captain Daryl Wilson

A native of Tuskegee, Alabama, CAPT Wilson joined the U.S. Navy in May 1994 and received a commission in December 1999 through the Navy Reserve Officers’ Training Corps program at Auburn University. He was designated a Navy Supply Corps officer in December 2002.

As a Naval Supply Corps Officer and joint logistician, he has deployed across the globe in submarines, aircraft carriers and operational expeditionary staffs.

Operational assignments include: V-2 arresting gear and waist catapult branch officer, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69); V-3 hangar deck officer, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69); hazardous inventory control system officer, USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71); supply officer, USS Norfolk (SSN 714); and assistant supply officer aboard the only Forward Deployed Naval Forces aircraft carrier, USS George Washington (CVN 73), homeported in Yokosuka, Japan. In his last operational assignment he served as commanding officer, Naval Special Warfare Group Logistics and Support Unit THREE (LOGSU-3), an operational sea duty component supporting training, deployment and augmentation of Naval Special Warfare undersea platforms and missions.

Wilson’s previous staff assignments include: diversity recruiter, Navy Recruiting District, Montgomery, Alabama; logistics response cell officer-in-charge, Commander, United States Naval Forces Central Command; readiness reporting division branch chief, U.S. Strategic Command; site director, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Jacksonville, Detachment Mayport, Florida; supply officer, Naval Station Mayport; director of supply chain management and industrial support, NAVSUP FLC Jacksonville; deputy director of fleet support division, NAVSUP Headquarters; director of submarine logistics (SEA 07L), Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters, Washington Navy Yard. He currently serves as the US Navy Military Representative to the Defense Business Board.

His education includes a bachelor's degree in Aerospace and Aviation Management from Auburn University, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in supply chain management from the Naval Postgraduate School.

His major awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Joint Achievement Medal, Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal and various other service, unit, and campaign awards throughout his Navy career. He is a recipient of the 2006 Admiral Stan Arthur Logistics Team of the Year Award. He is a qualified Naval Expeditionary Supply Corps Officer, Naval Aviation Supply Officer, Submarine Supply Corps Officer, Joint Duty Qualified Officer and member of the Defense Acquisition Corps.
