Leah Glaccum

Ms. Leah Glaccum joined the Defense Business Board (DBB) team in July 2020. She currently serves as the Operations Manager assisting the Executive Director in the day-to-day operations and administrative management of the Board. Prior to her current role, Ms. Glaccum previously served on the DBB as a research analyst and staff assistant.

Leah brings over 20+ years of management experience in a variety of industries including manufacturing, education, and wellness. Her drive for continuous improvement, both professionally and personally, is a great fit at the DBB where best practices and recommendations are developed to maximize DoD efficiency in support of the National Defense Strategy and our warfighters around the world.

As the spouse of a retired Colonel in the US Air Force, Leah has supported the DoD in a variety of roles including serving as a Commander’s Key Spouse, along with leadership positions for both military and local community organizations. Earlier in her career, she gained experience in supply chain management supervising production of a high-technology semi-conductor manufacturing firm and leading the materials department of a high-volume international manufacturing organization specializing in automotive parts for new vehicles.

Leah is a Project Management Professional, holds an MBA from West Coast University and earned a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in both Management and Communication from The College of St. Scholastica. She is married to Michael Glaccum, Col (Ret.) and has three children. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, teaching yoga, and creating healthy meals for family and friends.
