Steve Cruddas

Mr. Steve Cruddas joined the Defense Business Board staff in March 2014.  He is a retired Marine Corps Officer having served 21 years in personnel and administration as an enlisted Marine, Warrant Officer, Limited Duty Officer, and Commissioned Officer.  His last assignment prior to retirement in 1996 was at Headquarters, Marine Corps as the Administrative Officer to the Deputy Commandant of the Marine Corps for Program and Resources. 

Expanding his horizons, Steve became a Lotus Notes developer designing collaborative programs for such clients as the EPA, Verizon 9-1-1 Emergency Support Call Center, and The Soap Association.

After seven years in Lotus Notes, Steve got back to his admin roots and as a Federal contractor served as the Office Manager for the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) Executive Program Office located at Ft. Belvoir.  As the LOGCAP office moved to Rock Island IL, Steve remained at Ft. Belvoir and became the Executive Administrator to the Director, Rapid Equipping Force.  Before coming to the DBB, Steve served as the Executive Assistant to the Project Manager for DoD Biometrics in Alexandria, VA.   

Having supported the DBB as a contractor for 18 months, Steve became a government employee and assumed the Operations Manager position in October 2015.
